Etnies Signing & Demo Edit
On 11th August, the Etnies team came to Kingston as part of their European tour. After a signing at the Etnies store on Fife Road, the team headed to give the crowd a demo of their moves. Despite the rain as the demo started, we were treated to an awesome show.

Kingston Skatepark Scene
I recently put this edit together of some of the locals at Kingston Skatepark, also known as Kingsfield Skatepark. I tried to include as many locals as i could in the edit but time was an issue. Filmed during 2011/12 since the park was opened.

Typography Within Video
It’s something that we use every day. It’s part of our way of life. It can even determine the way we view things. Typography is a big part of our culture and can determine the way we interact on a daily basis. Every day applications ask for good typography, to the point that half the time, we won’t even realize it because it’s incorporated into our day-to-day life.
I’m not going to go into the do’s or don’ts of typography, or the ways that things should or shouldn’t be represented. What I want to touch upon is the way in which typography is used within video.

The Pool | Nike 6.0
When someone says the words ‘The Pool’ normally you would think of water, diving, swimming and other such water activities. Well ever since i went to The Nike Pool in Dagenham those words have never been the same. Nike has done a lot of good things for BMX in the last couple of years, one of which was the event held in Dagenham leisure center. They turned a swimming pool that had recently become out of use and derelict into one of the most amazing skateparks i have had the pleasure to ride. The project was called 30 days in Dagenham as the park was only open for 30 days before the whole building (along with the skatepark) had to be demolished. In those 30 days i got to ride the park with some of the guys from the Zeal BMX team. This is an edit from one of those days, something i will never forget. Enjoy.
