Personal piece: The Blue Threadbare Valentine

For our ladies (the one we will meet as well) so that they will never become our blue valentines. Digital Paining plus some 3D stuff (zbrush and  cinema4d) – inspired by “Blue Valentine” and some Corey Taylor lyrics.

    Dear Adam
My name is Gareth Muers and I am studying a Foundation degree in Graphic Design at New College Durham, (England). I am currently doing my Critical study module, which is about seeking employment in the area of digital illustration. I would be very grateful if you could assist me by answering the following questions:

Q1. What is the process you go through to generate ideas for a new piece of artwork.
Q2. Where does your work come from?
Q3. Is your creativity restricted by a budget?
Q4. Are you given total freedom with your artwork or does a commission come with recommendations or suggestions to be included.
Q5. Are you self-taught or have you undertaken any formal training?

Q6. How do you get work? Do you have an agent or do you personally make the contact?
Q7. What is your advice to someone who is starting off in this profession and seeking work?

I understand you are very busy and hope to hear from you soon.Thank you for any assistance, which you can offer.

blog / Personal piece: The Blue Threadbare Valentine

“We are sewn inside the fabric that is holding us together
We can only pray that something so tragic will save us all

Oh in all this time
I never wanted to destroy a dream come true
And all this time
I never wanted to destroy someone like you
I want you to stay
So give me a sign
Give me your hand
I’ll take you home…”

Dedicated to Sophie – well.. she doesn’t exist, but I can image that if she would – she would would have dark eyes, dark hair and gorgeous smile (like her mom). So that’s for you Sophie.
