   My name is Gareth Muers and I am studying a Foundation degree in Graphic Design at New College Durham, (England). I am currently doing my Critical study module, which is about seeking employment in the area of digital illustration. I would be very grateful if you could assist me by answering the following questions:

   Q1. What is the process you go through to generate ideas for a new piece of artwork.
   Q2. Where does your work come from?
   Q3. Is your creativity restricted by a budget?
   Q4. Are you given total freedom with your artwork or does a commission come with recommendations or suggestions to be included.
   Q5. Are you self-taught or have you undertaken any formal training?

   Q6. How do you get work? Do you have an agent or do you personally make the contact?
   Q7. What is your advice to someone who is starting off in this profession and seeking work?
