I found Nick’s music by accident – one day browsing the net and one of the first things I thought when I listened to it was: how did I never hear this before? Well… as popular as Nick was (is) in some circles – he was very “indi” (with indi not being what it’s now and having indi music in every car/lcd-tv/phone tv ad) artist even in his own time.

Living frugal life of very low income (£20 per week – yes – even in the 70′ it was very little) he managed to creative some of the best songs I have ever heard. I will stop bored you now and just post some of my favourite songs – will limit to five as I could post every song from every album.

Born in 1948 Nicholas Rodney “Nick” Drake suffered from depression and was just 26 years old when he died from an overdose of amitriptyline (antidepressant).
